Yah, the colorless bars were there before, but the ripple is new. Electrolytics dying like lemmings, I suppose. Working on new-fangled PC boards is just about my least favorite chore.

Ditto the PS in the Sencore, I had a similar issue with mine, except the fold would stabilize at the top of the raster and I would have a 60 cycle hum bar that seemed to be more pronounced like a 120hz cycle. I popped the unit open and repaired multiple cold solder connections. This suprised the heck outta me because these older Sencored are built like a tank!

I can't believe I'm saying this, but yeah, maybe I'll open up that thing for a peek. Looking back through the manual, it does some pretty keen tricks.
