Hello everyone,
thanks for letting me be part of this community, greatly appreciated.
I have been into early television from my teenage years on. I have some rare sets that I really treasure, two European sets from 1957 (I shipped them both to the US), made by Hornyphon, the Philips subsidiary in Austria, 21 inch and 17 inch TVs based on the 17TA144A/01 chassis. The 21 inch set has been restored and has been working well, although a high voltage issue recently crept in that I am currently addressing; the 17 inch set is in the process of being restored, may take a little.
Besides that, I have a fully restored RCA621TS, which still needs some sound alignment, I have an RCA TRK12, with original CRT and mask, still to be restored, and then I have a CTC9, which I had to make functional again after the vertical output transformer gave up. It's a good and enjoyable set.
I may need some help from the forum from time to time, if I run into issues, so your input will be greatly appreciated.
Will post some pictures soon.
