Television Part Cross-Referencing, post here

I managed to pick up some pretty complete Thordarson Meissner, Miller, Stancor, and Workman parts catalogs recently, so we might as well put them to use

If you have a set that needs a part and you need a part number, post it here and I'll do my best to look it up. Model numbers, chassis numbers, and OEM part numbers help out quite a bit in finding the correct applications.

If you have a part but don't know what it fits, I'll do my best to ID it.

Most of my catalog listings end around 1963 or so, but I'll do my best....

Great idea! I have some references that I'd like to put to use as well; some run up into the late 70s. It's a good feeling to be useful once in a while!

A reminder that Triad has their last TV cross reference online:

http://www.triadtransformers.com/tv81.html

While not as extensive as Thordarson, Triad did cover the bases with the most popular brands. They were the first with the silicone-based flyback encapsulation. I never had a Triad tranny or fly go bad. Guess that's why they are still in business.

Cheers,

Silvertone Coil

Hi, I need a cross reference for a Silvertone coil 10-120-1. It goes in a Silvertone TV chassis 528.50124. Sams 389-3 does not list any cross references.

Thanks
Doug

Crosses to Merit TV-236 and Thordarson 17-1072 (remove capacitor between primary and secondary).

Tricky one. My Workman catalog goes from 10-76-2 to 10-81-2 and my Miller lists nothing at all. Thordarson lists that Silvertone number but no replacement part number is indicated.

My catalogs *might* be too old on this one.....hopefully someone else can chime in

Shows that it directly crosses to a Stancor WC-5. It *may* also cross to a Miller 6318, but not 100% on that one. Workman T108 or T110 should do also.
