Looks like we're getting close!!

Wonder how many people will be coming? The May convention is always a good crowd, but since the museum's never held an October meet I wonder how many will be in attendance.....

I plan to stop by. A little bummed it's supposed to rain, but hope to see some cool finds... and also a good excuse to finally visit the ETM since I'm just down the road!

Figured I'd throw out a last minute plea for anyone who's going and might know the whereabouts of a 1983-84 Sony KV-1354R / KV-1355R / KV-1357R / KV-1358R or a Sharp 19C81 / 19C81B / 19C85 / 19C85A from 1979-80. I'd even gladly take an orphaned remote (Sony RM-714, Sharp RRMCG0043CESA) or owner's or service manual you might have stashed away.

As the Sharp has been particularly elusive, with confusing model # variants, attached are the only images I've found of the one I'm looking for.

I'd really like first dibs on that Zenith, if you don't mind (I've inquired a couple of times and not gotten a direct response).

I'm thinking of bringing a porta-color that is missing it's CRT to donate to the club, and maybe a 17" monochrome that lost it's vacuum when I tried to re-solder a busted off lead....I'm sick of holding on to that jug so if they don't want it I'll trash it.

Look for a Honda Pilot towing an (empty) U-Haul trailer, hoping to fill it up

I was there. I got the 13" Zenith (no sound, no color, all Zenith tubes and a BIG F'n spider ), a 19" remote tube color Magnavox (which actually works decent!), a 18" GE built Packard Bell/Teledyne with a weak squirrely CRT (no raster, and space noises in the audio), a 50's-60's tube version of the cheap A/V RF modulators sold today (un tested, but looks like fun!).
