Wanted 21AXP22

I know they're rare and unreliable, but I'm looking for a good one. I'm putting this out there to see if they're out there and for how much. I have a Ctc 5 and it needs one. I'd prefer keeping it relatively original instead of putting a later, more reliable, crt in this set. It's kinda special. Near mint ctc 5. Any info is appreciated.

So nothing? Ok. Then does anybody have any good procedures one can use to hack this tv to work off one of the later all glass crt's? Wait, I turned this classified post into an advice post. I guess I'll ask the question in the early color tv thread.

Be patient and eventually one will turn up. Refresh this posting on a regular basis; if you haven't already, post also on the ARF and EFT sites:

I saw that 5 on ebay, but I wouldn't want to disassemble a perfectly good TV to fix mine. Becides it's too much money for just the CRT.

If you find a good two for one, my CTC-4 could use a good AXP too.

I've been considering getting a CTC-5 to pull a jug out of, but they are just too darn pricey to make it worth my time....Unless I can find a ratty one in the hands of someone who don't think it's worth much.

Post on ARF also, that's where I got one from. A member shipped one to me on Greyhound for free, and it worked.
