2-inch video tape cases

We've been hired to help clear out the estate of a retired professor of television and broadcast at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO). Our expertise is vintage audio, and frankly I joined videokarma mostly to sell this gentleman's equipment. If you wish to look me up, I'm active as "Lee of Omaha" on audioasylum and on eBay as "electronaddict."

We have 9 x 2-inch video tape cases in used functional condition. I'll sell these for the first reasonable offer. There must be profit after packing and shipping, but we're not expecting a fortune. You could use these for 2-inch tape, of course, or as the coolest lunch box on the planet!

Please ask us questions and we'll try hard to answer them.

You can reach us by email through videokarma or directly at lee@electronaddict.com or by phone at 402 916-4757.

As I posted in the ad, make some kind of a reasonable offer that covers shipping and a modicum of profit for the estate and we'll accept it. Shipping should be cheap, as it's mostly volume, not weight.

Wonder if you can mail them at the videotape rate? I believe they were also used as mailers, (see labels) so no packing required... just tape over the release mechanism.

I have a few I've used to store circular saw blades in (containers without NAB hubs built-in).

If you run across any 2" video tape, don't just pitch it, as there are places that can play and transfer "obsolete" formats.

You forgot to mention that those tapes sometimes contain the only existent recording of program material, and that sometimes that makes them have value beyond just the historical importance.

I'll take an unreasonable offer

How does $5 each plus shipping sound? If you don't like that price, make an offer.
