Ship to Canada advice needed.

What is the most cost effective way to ship a 15lb carton to the middle of Canada. I thought I found a way via USPS but cant find it again. Most everything else I find is just off the hook. The item is only a $20 unit but wont fit in the larger USPS Flat Rate box.

What say you?

This is what I've used. Sometimes a regular box is cheaper than a flat rate box.

That's about it. My company ships quite a bit to Canada, and that's about the going rate. Even though Canada is our neighbor the North, it's still a foreign country.

Suggest to the purchaser to pick up at a Mail Boxes Etc just south of the border, if they are near the US/Cdn border.

Shipping via the USPS may be costlier than via some private carriers, but the
actual total cost to the buyer in Canada is likely to be lower, as there will almost
certainly be no taxes or fees at the receiving end. Fill out the paperwork
honestly and completely. I just received two 1962 Chevrolet car radios declared
honestly at $100 total value and there was no problem. Regards.

Totally agree with Kamakiri. I'm just under a 2 hour dive to the US border, and have everything shipped to a Kinek outlet. A heavy item that would cost me 150 from SanFrancisco to Calgary, costs about 60 to the border, so I order and wait til I have multiple items to pickup and make the return trip on a 40 dollar tank of gas. Depends how close to the border they are

Kinek. https://www.kinek.com/
