I posted last May that I was looking for a flyback transformer for my Zenith 24MC32Z. I still haven't found one.

I may end up removing the encasing and see if I can repair or rewind it myself. That is unless I get lucky.

I have a zenith parts chassis 16z7c50z
Flyback looks good, but no way to test, doubt it will cross reference to either of these tvs but if it does let me know

I will try and locate one next week. If the secondary doughnut is shorted, pull it off and use a trippler.
If you want to get creative you can get one for another zenith of the same style and make it work.

What you have here is a S79640/FLY363. That works in several of zeniths chassis and was probably the most popular flyback they used. There may be a bit of demand for that one.....

I don't think we are ever going to see this chassis number for this mysterious '65 Zenith with a rectangular tube and 4 transistors.

Weren't you doing that yesterday? And the day before, and before that?

Think about it, you've been wanting this mysterious flyback since 5 days ago, and we STILL don't know anything about this TV, other than you likely got the date wrong.

I'm trying to be easy.

Just waiting to see how this goes. It's just, I keep seeing the same stuff from this person. Someone makes a correction to him, and he counter-corrects it. (When consoleguy67 said it's not a hybrid if it's a '65, and he counter-corrected it basically saying "as i said 1965 zenith CoLoR tv 4 tranzistors".) Yes, he quoted me, but I merely re-stated what consoleguy67 said, because it's the truth.

Sorry, I'm quite careful with him right now. He doesn't like being wrong.

We all make mistakes. What we do with the information people try to help us with is up to the individual. We can only guide, not force people to understand.

I know we all make mistakes. My worst is when I though my CRT was still glowing when off. I didn't have my glasses on at the time to realize it was the ceiling fans light reflecting on the glass.

But alas, still awaiting this chassis number.

I don't think he really wants a flyback after all. He has never given us enough information.

Yea, no chassis number.

Just excuses to hold off another day. Sorry I don't like being played.
