I'm still look for some knobs for mine but if you can sell the complete set better to go that way. If you do part it out consider me for the cabinet, knobs, CRT. Where is the set now?

That's one set that I've had, and had to sell, and regretted. My favorite GE of all time.

Location, location, location!

It don't look too messed up to me. I like the two tone finish going on there. The stripped wood compliments the grill cloth.

That flyback shouldn't be too hard to find a replacement for. I'd try putting the whole set on your local Craigslist. Someone will enjoy fixing it up.

I have a complete set but your cabinet is nicer it has the back and all the trimmings, right?. If you want to part with just the cabinet, CRT, back and knobs the shipping probably wouldn't be too much. After all it's the chassis that accounts for most of the weight.

It looks like all the veneer is gone from the top and were looking at the secondary wood. It's a common issue with these sets. I ended re-veneering the top of mine.

actually the top layer of the plywood came off too. somewhere though I have the layers and the veneer it litterally just came unglued finishes was even still on it. i would definetly be willing to sell the set sans chassis.

http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...v/DSC06124.jpg and yes it does have the back and all the trimmings except the crt socket cover
