Hmm.. TVTimeisfun now has that infamous "banned" under his name, perhaps we should close this thread so no one gets their hopes up?

I think he and some others have a temporary ban from not sending their "crap swap" packages yet.....

That's exactly it. On his "banned" message, he has my phone number and email. He just needs to reach me about that, or his account will stay locked.

Fair is fair, after all. I understand that he's got some huge fish to fry, but it's not an excuse for bad manners to take less than 60 seconds to drop me an email.

Hello,
I contacted tvtimeisfun and made arrangements with him to meet in Indy last Thursday. We had a very nice visit , and I wound up buying six of his 1940s B&W sets plus a 1950s color set.

IMHO (In My Humble Opinion): I really don't see what all the fuss is about. tvtimeisfun has limited resources and prefers not to get involved with packing and shipping in any form.
Regards,

If that's the case, then he shouldn't have signed up for a crap swap in the first place. He received a box of merchandise from another member, if he didn't want to ship anything, he shouldn't have signed up and accepted that responsibility. Period.

So far he hasn't emailed me or made a simple phone call, so his status will remain until he does.

Hello,
I thought these posts were with regard to the sale of the items listed in the original post. I wouldn't know a crap swap if it hit me in the face.
Maybe the crap swap or member bashing should be handled elsewhere, maybe privately. There's no need to be rude in the forum.
Regards,

You're probably right, but you felt it right to voice opposition in public, so I replied in kind.

Closing the thread.
