FS: RCA CTC-11H color TV, recapped, working, $250

For sale, my RCA CTC-11H color TV. It has been recapped and it works.

You can read more about the TV at:

http://antiqueradio.org/RCACTC-11ATelevision.htm

I had a deal to sell it, but that fell through. This TV has been readied for shipping, with the knobs and cabinet legs wrapped and securely stowed inside the cabinet. One of the wooden legs has a crack, so I never tried using the legs.

The TV has a back cover from another 21-inch RCA color set of about the same vintage. The cover fits, but of course the model number on its label doesn't match.

Since taking those photos, I bought a correct fine tuning knob, which is included. The cabinet paint is presentable, with a few light scratches here and there. The cabinet has a small, shallow dent near the lower left corner.

This is a 60-year old television. I can guarantee that it leaves this house in working condition and that the electronic restoration was done in workmanlike fashion. After transit -- across the room or across the country -- it will likely need degaussing.

$250. Local pickup or you pay to ship from zipcode 98072. I am not able to crate the TV for shipping. Here are two local companies that can pick up, pack, and ship:

If you have any questions, contact me via PM or by going to http://antiqueradio.org/contact.htm .

Regards,

Phil Nelson

great set. If you were closer it would be mine. The 11 is by far my favorite chassis. Shouldn't have a problem finding a home for that set with a picture like that!

Hi Phil. As you can see, I did check this site. Boy, would I love to be near enough to buy this. I wish you the best of luck and please ask the wife to be patient. You know that if it just "goes away" there will be some poor soul that will come knocking on your door looking for it two days later...

This one is officially of the market

I just got home after a five day certification training course to service Precor cardio equipment, I was looking through the VK clasified ads and came across
Phil's listing to sell a working CTC 11H for $250.00, Judging by the pictures and gronnings of VK members that were on the other side of US the purchaser
of this set would be getting a bargain. To think i was just a stones throw away and to come home empty handed, Luck would have it i was to drive to
central Oregon all expences paid and the I 5 is not too far from the set, To my delight the tv was still for sale. Now back Home (about 600 miles north)
The set is working fine and i will enjoy watching atomic age Si Fi and other B movie clasics. Thanks Phil for offering up this item.

I'm glad to hear that it survived the long drive and is in good hands.

I earned major Husband Points by removing it from in front of the fireplace where it has sat for too long. Jokes about using it to play Yule Log videos weren't getting laughs this year
