WTB:Early tube stereo radio, working.

Hi All,

I recently acquired a KLH Model Eight which I love. But as we know it's not stereo without the overly rare and overpriced Model Thirteen.
So for some reason I've been bitten by the 'early stereo radio' bug.

If anyone has any, tube only, early stereo/MPX radios, preferably working.
Give me shout please.

An example of what I'm looking would be, the Motorola B100, or something similar.

I have a General Electric early 1960's tube stereo radio with two hinged speakers like that Motorola. It also has a flip-down turntable. I also have an add-on wireless speaker for it, model SP-20B. Here is an AK discussion of other GE units, but mine is a table-top system, not a console.

Let me know if it is maybe what you are interested in. I may have some pictures of it.

Thank you Chris.
Sounds like this is something I'd be interested in.
Do you have any pictures of your unit? Do you happen to have the model number handy?

I see you're in CA. And I'm in New Jersey. I'd bet shipping would be a killer.

Saint Johnny-

I checked, I do not have any pictures of the system. It is at my brother's house in the Chicago area (so, shipping to N.J. would not be as bad as feared). The model number was not obvious on the main system, so I only got the speaker's number listed above. The stereo is 33" wide, 19" high, and 15" deep, and the add-on speaker is 18x16x5 inches. (I measured them for possible shipping to my house.) I do not know if it is 100% tube, though. I will ask my brother to take some pictures in the next few days or week if he can, and I will post them here.

Saint Johnny --- Did you make a mistake meaning to have posted this over at Audiokarma instead? What you are looking for doesn't belong in this forum.

I am looking for any 45-50 year old tube stereo radio. How does that not belong on a forum with topics such as, "Antique Radio", "Transistor Radio", "Vintage TV And Radio Tech", "Tube Stereo Radios"???

I posted in AK Barter Town as well. But without any luck.
