Collection of square tube sets

Posted these on CL already, thought a shameless plug here would be a good idea as well.

I need these gone, no reasonable offer will be turned down!

The Admirals, the Silvertone, heck, the Sylvania too...just teleport them right over, will ya?

Wish I was closer! I sure hope somebody comes along.

Try contacting Doug Harland or Mark. I'm sure one of them would take them (or at least a couple of them).

I would take the Zenith 4-Tube Hybrid, but I'm already having my RCA fixed and would rather not "take on" any more sets at the moment. Since I'll be moving in a few years, I can't fill my home with too many sets, especially consoles due to their size (Plus, my family isn't exactly what you'd call "thrilled" about my interest in 1960's and 1970's tube/solid state sets). I'd only be able to fit them in the back room of our basement, which really isn't that big.

Regardless, try posting them on Ebay or Amazon. I bet you'll get some business there. A couple weeks ago someone posted a 1983 Hitachi, and it was sold within days.

Or, if you've seen my post on another thread, you could donate them to the Lou Gehrig's Disease Foundation based right out of here in Chicago. That's what my grandmother did with her 1977 (can't remember the brand) set about 7 or 8 years ago because it was getting bad reception with the rabbit ears in her kitchen. I'm not sure if they are still accepting "vintage" electronics, but go for it anyway.

Just give it some time. Maybe you won't find some on VK to take these sets off your hands, but I'm sure that you'll find someone elsewhere.

Once again, I'm sorry I can't "ease your burden" by purchasing some of your TVs. Good luck selling!

Matt

Hi Nick. I'm interested in the RCA CTC38 and possibly the Admiral. Please PM.

The small Admiral and CTC-38 are now gone!

Still have the remote Sylvania and Admiral available, along with the 22" Zenith, 19" Zenith, and 25" Sears Silvertone.
