Console TV's on craigslist

This is my ad but if anyone wants this stuff and you can come get it by this weekend, its free. I only added the price to keep the junk pickers away.

I just found these b/w sets last weekend at a house I was passing by in the city, they were all about to get tossed into the dumpster and I got them for free. They'll need work, but they are all complete. I saved these assuming someone here could give them a home, but ultimately, I have no room for them and if they go unclaimed then...... I also have that zenith console color, cabinet is pretty moldy and bad.

If you could bring it to Florida, as I cant drive due to vision problems, I'd gladly take that 27" Deforest Sanabria off your hands, and, the color console, as well, plus, the 60's portable.

Doug,

If that Zenith color is rough, it might be a good parts set for my Emperor??

I like the Zenith color set, but as usual, it's too far away. I hope someone can take them.

Wow Doug, those are all nice and unusual console sets, I hope you won't toss any of them.

I'd love to have them but of course I'm no where near Chicago.

I hope someone's able to save these neat sets! Like Bill, I'd be rather intrigued by that DeForest Sanabria. The speaker is mounted in a rather interesting way. I get the impression that maybe that whole lower section was intended to act like a horn for the sound coming out of the speaker. Seems like that curved wooden panel would deflect the sound from the speaker and hopefully, give you the impression of a wider, more full sound. That might make the most out of that single speaker which seems to be mounted diagonally over on the right side. Or... maybe I'm just making up stuff!

There was a DeForest Sanabria on eBay in the last year or two - it was around Orlando if I recall correctly. I hope to get one someday - can't afford to take a trip right now

98% sure I see a Zenith roundie (the back is facing camera; on far right).

I went over and took a look at the sets pictured tonight. The DeForest Sanabria was the only set I was really interested in, but it's just too darn big for me to deal with

Sorry, I wasn't able to see it. Doug wasn't there when I stopped by and I only saw four sets on the back patio.

I fear the worst. Later that evening the heavens opened up to the heaviest rainfall in decades
