1952 Admiral console TV

I have a 1952 Admiral 26A35 (21K1 Chassis) for sale. TV is in good condition. CRT does light up and speaker also works. Asking $50.

I'm in Buffalo, and might consider the set

When you say that the picture tube "lights up", does the whole tube light, and is it bright? I assume that static is on the speaker?

Let me know, and you might have it sold......

I turned the TV on briefly and took a photo. The CRT lights ups except for the very bottom. With a small loop antenna I was getting sound from a Canadian channel.

Please see the photo.

That won't be a difficult restoration. (famous last words?) Just needs the caps replaced and it should be a reliable set. Hope somebody can grab it!

FREE!! I would now call this a Parts/Project TV.

Had to partially disassemble to remove from my house. Still complete.

If you don't mind waiting until next week (I'll be in NJ this weekend), I'll gladly give it a good home

Sending PM.

I haven't done anything with the TV in years. A couple more weeks won't hurt a thing.

Easy peezy lemon squeezy

Replaced over a dozen caps, 3 tubes, plus two of the tubes in the chassis were wrong. Picture tube needed waking up on "activate" mode on my tester, but came right back up.

Makes a strong stable picture, with excellent audio. Thanks again!
