Gateway P42M102 plasma, brand new

Just found out my uncle has one of these from 2002-2003 still sealed in a shipping crate. Apparently he bought it to replace his other TV years ago and never has used it.

For actual use its pretty much outdated, an EDTV, but still pretty cool that it's never been used.

I repaired one of the exact same one a couple of years ago that I garbage picked. They were made by Sampo for Gateway. There were a couple of cheap caps that porbably were the downfall of the reliability of this set. 3 on the power supply (6 if you want to be safe) one on the sound board and one in the y sustain. They were all in close proximity to heat sinks and were shot on the set I fixed.
