My parents bought me a Sony VCR/DVD for Christmas 2007. It does not record to DVD though, only to VHS. But it doesn't have it's own tuner. I forget how I recorded on it, must have fed it from cable box. In fact it's been so long that I used it I can't remember IF I ever recorded with it. lol
