1966 Conar black & white tv

Hi, I found this in front of a house down the street with a free sign on it. Being the that I am hee hee, I picked it up, brought it home and checked it out.

It is a tube tv with power transformer so no series string or hot chassis. A plus!

Anyway, it had two bad coupling caps, one shorted electrolytic in the power supply, and a burned up power resistor.

Had all the parts on hand and had it working within a couple of hours.

Anyone know this brand? Any schematics available?

Not knowing the history, I can only guess that it probably hasn't seen electricity for about 30 or 40 years.

The picture tube is in excellent condition and is not worn at all. In fact I needed to turn the brightness down just for these great pics.
