Just acquired CTC10 w/remote

Over the weekend I took a nice little Sunday drive 975 miles worth to be exact. Got a nice 12lp4 that tests very strong, an old lawn mower for John Marinello, and a very pristine CTC10 with remote control for $50. I also picked up a nice 19" Zenith porthole from John.

Somebody must have loved this CTC10 set very much because they took very good care of it. Not a scratch on it and clean as can be inside and out. The guy who had it said he got it at an estate sale.

The 21cyp22 crt appears to be the original and tests very good at about 650 with all guns within 3% on my B&K tester. The photos are washed out a bit from the flourescent light in my workshop. Image on the screen looks better than the photos.

Have not tested any tubes yet, I suspect I will find some weak ones that will need to be replaced. I made some minor adjustments and it needs to be converged. I need to pull the chassis because the motor driven tuner is slugish. I suspect some lubricant will improve this issue.

Now I need a CTC7 & CTC9 to fit in between the CTC4, CTC5 & CTC10
