Is anyone here using a wind-up Victor Victrola?
I have a weakspot for those..in storage is my 1917 standup model from my grandparents, along with a nice collection of all acoustically-recorded 78s. Last time I visited the machine, I regreased the spring and oiled the cabinet. I recall playing BEER BARREL POLKA by the Glahe Musette orchestra 1930s on it and it sounded surprisingly 'alive'.
