I really liked the emblem that says "NEW" orthophonic high fidelity. I'm sure this set is scarce because the HiFi speaker system made it cost about $200 or more and that was a whopper accessory in 1958 making it retail in the $1200+ bracket. It's still a beautiful TV! I can't wait to shop it out and hope the CRT has good emission. It looks all original and probably was owned all its' life by the same caring family. These old TV's normally come in only two conditions--very nice from the living room or very rough from the damp basement/garage.
At one time I had the 7 button remote set and gave it away about 40 years ago working to a friend. I would like to have it back!
