"This rare-earth phosphor is so sensitive to light that special lighting is needed where it is handled." What a messed-up bit of marketing writing! The phosphor is not at all sensitive to light. What is sensitive (to blue and ultraviolet) is the photo-resist that is used with the phosphor to allow patterning the phosphor dots. As a result, the rooms where the slurry is made and used have yellow lighting.
