After studying the picture of the rear of the set, I see what looks like an American made CRT socket. I think all the 8DP4's were made by RCA.
Is the large white ceramic component in the HV cage a voltage dropping resistor, for the mains? Is 220 volts, the normal domestic line voltage?
In the first picture, I can only see part of the wall receptacle and it looks like a round pin type.
