Everyone of my (pre-2014) flat screens has NTSC tuning and display capabilities. Samsung, one LG, and a TCL i got for the daughter. First thing i checked.

But yeah, would we even have grid power? Antennas capable? Would there even be people around smart enough or saavy enough to reprogram their TVs?

ATSC 3.0 removes the requirement for the NTSC capability, but also some of the ATSC 1.0 stations we have now will go silent -
