Smile Brittish Decca 78 record

While not a phonograph, it is phonograph related.
Today, a record I bought off ebay from a dealer in Brittain safely arrived.
Billy Cotton was the main singer on both sides, along with a group of men, and a big band orchestra.
Side A "I've got a lovely bunch of cocoanuts"
Side B "Hang on the bell, Nellie"

This is actually a better record than I first thought. While I like the Danny Kaye version on Decca made here in the states of side A better, it's pretty good.
Side B is actually good, and, I like the swing beat.
Let me put in the chorus words here....

"Hang on the bell, Nellie. Hang on the bell. Your poor dad is locked in a cold prison cell. As you swing to the left, and, swing to the right, remember the curfew bell must never ring tonight."

It's actually a kind of funny song.
Just wanted to tell about it.....
