Wow did you say push pull 2A3s, in a table top phono? This thing is awesome, certainly one of the nicest of the sort I've ever seen. I can't believe that by 1939 it wasn't based on a 50L6 output stage or at best a 6V6. I hope you get it going. I'd be tempted to modify it to play LPs to get a bit more use out of that amazing amplifier and speaker!
