I do remember I think it was G13 chassis OEM flys were a kit
& I despised them. Took quite a while to do one. I would rather
work on GE's all day..........

The original G13's had two 6JM6's. IIRC, the kit came with a single 6KD6 to replace the original two tubes. Plus a lot of other engineering changes that were probably associated with the lousy feedback regulator circuit.
The set, I remember changing the flyback in, that was a real dog, was a 19" Magnavox hybrid. The original flyback used a HV rectifier tube, where the replacement used a trippler. That part wasn't bad but the kit came with a mess of diodes and other parts. The kit came with a revised schematic, to show where all the parts went.
One of the many reasons, I never had too much love for Magnavox products.
