Unless you get lucky and find a blown fuse, bad diode or bulged and/or oozing electrolytic capacitor on the power supply or main board, it is pretty much "game over" unless you have an esr meter to probe caps on the board that might look good but are nevertheless bad. Sometimes a replacment board can be found on eBay for a reasonable price ... do you feel lucky???
