It would be cool to go out to Ca. and get one of those Convertible Dakotas ! !

You probably dont have to go to CA. to get one. They sometimes appear on CL. Ive seen a few legit one's on there. We've got a red convertable that roams around town durring the summer that's in mint shape.
I didn't know Dakota's came with HD springs, or were they added later?...
Any pics of your's?

First is when I baught it in 2009.
2nd and 3rd are from last year, truck was showing it's true colors. All the shoddy previous body work re-rusting out. Aint it nice. The front also met a tree that winter. Damn front wheels locked in the middle of a turn on soft fresh snow.
4th is how it looked a few weeks back. I took a lot of crap off that i've wanted to get rid of and am working on the hood and roof. It looks better now though with more paint.
Dont lauph too much at this one, but 5th is one I made up with the MSpaint and how i'd like the truck to look. Kind of a throwback to the late60's early70's mopar muscle look. Flat black hood too. Think Duster+Demon. I cant afford one so... Ive also got a 318 that im going to be building for it.

Well, lets see if this works,
