Yes, I saw the thread on noisy clock motors.

I popped off the back and could barely rotate the flywheel. A few squirts of WD40 and lots of manual turning free it up enough to run under it's own power. But like I said it ends to stall and is kinda noisy. I'll try some 3-in-1 in the gearbox and let it run a while longer. Maybe it'll get better. Even so, I wouldn't mind putting in a newer motor. I think this is a pretty early model since it has black digits instead of the common red, green & blue models. Maybe early 50s
