FREE: Vintage electronics servicing magazines: Local pickup near Baltimore Md.

FREE: Vintage electronics servicing magazines: Local pickup near Baltimore Md.

PF Reporter - Electronics Servicing - Radio Electronics - Electronic Technician

I have a bunch of old service publications that are up for grabs. A real storehouse of servicing information and vintage advertisements !

The Good: There's a bunch and they're FREE !

The Bad: These came out of an old electronic service guy's basement and have an odor to them.

Please note I will NOT ship these. Local pickup only -- I'm about 17 miles West of Baltimore, Md off I-70.

I'd prefer for one or more people to just grab the boxes and take all of these. They're currently stored in the back of an old van I have on the property, and I'm looking to get it towed for scrap in the near future. As such, first come , first served, no holds.

If nobody takes them then they go off to be recycled.

Hope someone up in MD land can claim the collection and donate them to American Radio History site where we all can share the great amount of knowledge contained within. All the best, Tom.J

Ditto .I recommend to get hold of David the Admin of American Radio History site and he might want those mags to fill the voids in his vast collection.

Unwillingness to ship is a deal killer for most who would be interested...

Also, whoever is willing to go get them may be wasting a trip. Whenever I see "first come, first served, no holds" or anything like it in local free ads I immediately write them off. Actually I've seen that so much in recent history that I've all but stopped checking the free ads.

The intent was to get these out of here fast, meaning first that can transport them gets them.

There's the other side of the coin to consider. I don't want to be stuck in a holding pattern hanging on to these for a month or more only to have the person decide to back out as the pickup date approaches. People grabbing free items often flake out at the last minute as they have essentially nothing to lose.....

Hey......pass the word around. I would rather not end up putting these out on recycling day.

If I didn't already have a similar pile...

I would highly recommend these: great reading including a real wealth of troubleshooting information.
