WTB: Sanyo JU0069 Vertical Output IC

I'm looking for a good JU0069 vertical output IC. Also goes by Sanyo part number 4090140707. This is used in a 1984 Sears 19" TV model 564.41200350. It looks like a small STK module without its plastic case. A ceramic "board" with surface mount parts on it attached to a metal mounting plate/heat sink.

We used to have about a 50% chance of restoring those just by resoldering the smds. Not for the faint at heart, and just a little heat, but it's worth trying.

Also is your model number correct? 564.42105350. perhaps?

My notes also mention the SMD power transistors on the module are ECG2428, now an NTE2428, I'd guess. My father's notes, actually....

More goodies, all in my gouge/notes:

Output Transistors are a 2SD1220=Ecg2528, 2SB905=Ecg2529. Driver Xistors Marked "Ay" Are Both Ecg2428. Resistors from pins 6-7 1.5k,7-8 2.2k,1-4 14.9k, 1-3 2.2k

Thanks, Brian
The model number I posted is correct. This is a non-remote set, with a vertical row of channel-select buttons and varactor tuner. I recently put this set into service as my bedroom set. The CRT is bright and sharp, and the sound is the best I've ever heard on a 19" table set. 4" speaker but sounds better than a lot of consoles.

You're probably right about the soldering being bad on the module itself. Someone had already re-soldered the pins on the module in a previous repair attempt. I re-soldered again myself, and replaced a couple of electrolytics that had high ESR. I'm living with the intermittent height reduction for now, it just adds an inch to those big letterbox bars.

Those component values will come in handy if the module fails completely and I decide to rebuild it, maybe using thru-hole equivalent parts and a decent heat sink

I second the motion, resolder it. Will fix most of them.
The part like most Sanyo/Fisher went disco very early on.
Its a shame. Otherwise they were the best low priced
color set at the time.
