That is quite a tv if they actually did watch coverage of The Depression or of
D-Day news on it..... That makes it much more than just regular old collectible....

LOL @ digital electricity! Gotta love those square waves bouncing around your vintage transformers...

HA! -

You shudda watched Lenno - he use to do something I think they called
j-walking, where they asked questions on the street, of people about current
events, and other stuff like easy math.... Teachers regularly flunked, who is
sec. of state, SS teachers flunked, percent questions, math teachers flunked.

There was another late night game show, use to bet on the street interviews
as to who was going to answer right, those who bet on teachers lost most
often..... Too bad that show never went prime time....

25% of graduating kids today can do basic math satisfactory.... Recently
on the news.... Science is around 35% I believe.....

I can spare you the trouble... He is I, and I am serious. When I write serious ads, they go unnoticed. When I use all the dumb cliches we are used to seeing, they get posted around the web...

"What an idiot... etc."

So there was some strategy here. Truth be known, I organized my basement a little over the weekend and came up with some sets I'd like to move. I don't even know if $500 is a fair price, but I'm sure someone will tell me if I'm wrong. :thmbsp:

Yeah there's no way a person ignorant enough to believe all that misinformation got such a great picture on an all tube colour TV which is spotless clean in 2014... damn the geometry is all good and the colours look balanced.. you didn't fool me at all :)

oldtvsandtoy 05-29-2014 02:25 PM

Kevin Kuehn 05-30-2014 04:13 PM

I like those search words at the bottom of the ad - googie :D

Don't give him to much credit, he bought the set working.

Fair enough, i was just thinking how many ads for an old tv oh Craig's show it with a great picture on the screen? Usually "works" means it can kind of make a raster
