"Dogbone Resistors"

I didn't quite know where to put this thread, but does any one know where I might find older "dogbone" style resistors? I need a few of them for a project I'm working on and can't seem to find what I need. I thought about checking eBay and waiting, but thought maybe some one knows a place where they are available other than that.

If you're looking for good ones, that might be difficult. I've found very few that were within tolerance. Possibly find one that is the right value and repaint it, but it's likely to continue drifting. Might be easier to fabricate some replicas.

I've cast some using this technique: http://www.radiomuseum.org/forum/rep...resistors.html

Here's a more recent technique that I like better: http://philcoradio.com/phorum/archiv...read-5501.html

On the other hand, after more than half a century it would seem that the resistance value would settle down.
