WANTED resistor

i need a power resistor for an rca victor coffee table tv
model N2026

Oh for the love of god, just post the value of the resistor and make it easy. Or is this going to turn out like your WANTED flyback? We still don't know anything about what you wanted.

Sounds like a Thermistor to me, it controls the surge at turn on.
If that's the case you can get them from Mouser
You need to know what the amperage is to know which one to get.

I used a CL-90 in my Predicta because I had read that was what others had used, it might be OK for the RCA or it might not depending on the amperage being passed through it.

we dont know they were all made the same and there the only ones that look like it. its a black ceramic disc with 2 solder dots on each side. only one like it its a hard to find resistor

Picture? I just don't want this turning into another thread like your flyback, which you still provided nothing informative for.

It's just, what you described doesn't even sound like a resistor. So we need pictures. Numbers, anything on it. No vague descriptions this time. Your reputation depends on it! :D

my camera isnt working right now give me a munute to search for a picture

its really close to that about penny size
but where the wires touch the disk theres big solder drops

The only thing I can possibly think you have is a zinc oxide varistor. But those aren't rare at all.

But what's the value? Please tell me you didn't just install a resistor without knowing it's value. :nono:
