Better post the chassis number, example 25MC30.

consoleguy67 11-11-2012 10:41 PM

If it's a '65, it won't be a hybrid.

Einar72 11-11-2012 10:48 PM

Do you know what killed the old one? :scratch2: Is that problem resolved? :scratch2: Folks will be hesitant to sell you rare parts to put into a smoker...:nono:

That's like saying. I ned a new cap for my 65 Chevy, it has computerized engine management. We need specifics

Any pictures or chassis number?

Zenith Flybacks are hard to find

Unlike RCA that seemed to have a pretty decent supply of flybacks, Zenith is another story. I would keep my eyes open on Ebay and maybe you'll get lucky.

I disagree 100%, rca ate flybacks so there are none left around. Zenith had low flyback failure, plenty left around.
Call Moyers and ask Bill, has hardly any RCA flybacks but still Zenith ones.

I didn't realize RCA ate flybacks myself. Learned something new.

As far as the original post, I'm going to assume there's no chassis number we are going to get, or a picture of said flyback, so it's likely safe to say we won't be able to help. Especially since it was claimed to be a hybrid, but in reality they didn't have those then.

sorry ive been busy with a record player and it is a hybrid it has 4 transistors and by the way i need a 125 transistor for it

lnx64 11-15-2012 01:35 PM

Picture/chassis number or it didn't happen.

I myself have not seen a '65 be a hybrid either. So I'm having a difficult time believing this.

1 Attachment(s)
heres a picture i am getting the number later
(its the set in the middle)
as i said 1965 zenith CoLoR tv 4 tranzistors

lnx64 11-15-2012 06:56 PM

I'm not sure that's a 65. It's not a roundie.

Need chassis.

More like around 1970.
