This CT-100 is very complete and very untested. The kine looks like it
has some getter left but may have developed a small leak?? I have seen
tubes that look worse make good pictures. $4000 or make me an offer.
Come check out the tube if you are interested. Would rather not ship.
Located 2 hours North of Boston. Have more pictures email if interested.
Thanks for looking.

At First Glance

You have a very nice set!
I agree with Nick. You need to find someone (on the forum) to test your crt. Also, can you provide the serial and cabinet numbers for Pete Deksnis' database?
Your set appears to have the signature crumbling yoke cover. The crt socket appears to be a newer variety. Do you have the rear cover and the ballast?

If you can post shots of the tube with a tester on it showing the needle in the green, I'll shoot you my offer.

JBL_1 10-06-2012 10:17 PM

Don't have a tester or I would. May have to look into getting
the chassis to make high voltage.

miniman82 10-07-2012 12:52 AM

Just find someone with a CRT tester, or buy one. A $50 investment might prove to be worthwhile in helping you make the sale, especially if the CRT proves to be good.

JBL_1 06-26-2013 08:19 PM

Well I have worked on this set but not enough in the past year. I would like to sell it if someone is interested. The chassis is making high voltage, the flyback, focus controls and dynamic focus transformer are good. The filaments light on the kine and there is a very very dim raster. The gun does not arc or glow purple so it has not gone to air. Maybe a CRT rejuvinator will do something?? Many of the coils had been replaced by previous owner. Looking for $2500. But interested in hearing any offers.
Thanks for looking!!!
