I'd say 30$. Its nice and I would gladly use it as a daily watcher! If the sound system is special, its worth it to me.

Yeah no, this guy is going to sit on it for a while at that price. Offer him 30, or 40 if you really want it, and let him cook for a while.

Tell him $40 and you help me haul it 😂😂😂

People seriously need to stay off drugs. Being old doesn't always means it's valuable. It's nice but maybe $100 nice. Seriously, this is ignorant.

The opening bid is much too high. Further, the seller is off by at least ten years as far as the age of the TV goes, unless that was a typo. This model was made in the early 1980s, not 1970 as the listing states. Two dead giveaways that the year of manufacture is wrong are, one, there were no such things as "System 3" televisions by Zenith in 1970 (System 3 was not introduced until the latter part of that decade), and two, the Space Phone feature wasn't even thought of by Zenith until the 1980s.

The set was top-o-line when new & was in the $1000 range.
It wont have stereo or video ins. It will have auto on/off.
I would make him an offer & when it dont sell you got it.
Also tell him it will live on as a TV thats used daily. That
can be worth quite a bit to many sellers.

The $1500 set is the same set with pop out controls.
IIRC both have a seperate power amp with 10 or 20
real watts. No need to comment on his drug use or state
of mind, he is obviously deranged.........

The tv is a good 5 hour drive one-way so IM not sure it would be worth it even for 30-50. There is a Zenith down the road from me for $25 I've been considering. Different style from these. I think it's an 84 model.

Hell, I wasn't getting $200 for these, back in the '90's, when I was selling them used as a teenager. $100 was about it and, as we know, they are all but worthless today. As far as the general public, the only one who might buy it would be someone who wants to turn it into a dog bed or fish tank. Even at that, he'd be lucky to get $20 for it. This dude needs to get out of the 1980's and get back to the real world.
