Awr1-1w Bose radio bass adjust

Does anyone know how to adjust the bass in this older Bose radio awr1-1w.

As far as I know there are no tone adjustments on these radios because Bose designed them to sound "perfect". Old electrolytic capacitors that decrease their rated value will result in less bass, while a capacitor that increases it's value can cause excessive bass.

Correct, no adjustments. You get that Bose sound for good or bad.

Off topic, but regarding caps in Bose Waves: they are full of surface mount (fish) electrolytics that go bad. I've recapped three this year so far - just under 50 per radio. They cause everything from crappy sound, to skipping CDs (that caught me off guard), to a dead radio. I've been using ceramic multi layer film caps instead.
