Anyone else make their hotel reservations for the ETF convention?

I'll be over at the Cambria Suites near the Polaris mall, about 20 miles from the museum. How about the rest of ya?

Super 8, Columbus West. Free breakfast and free wi-fi :) .

After my 4th trip to the museum I realized that it's the best location I could come up with because you pass all of the restaurants and shopping district both going to and leaving the museum. Sucks having to double back every time you want to stop for a bite on the way back to the hotel.

Was gonna book in at the Marriott or Courtyard Inn, but since I end up spending such little time at the hotel, didn't seem worth it.

Knight's Inn on Parkway Lane. It's the closest one to the museum and also (I think) the least expensive.

I am staying at the Knights Inn in Hilliard on Saturday I am staying across the street at that one over at McDonald's the real nice one on Friday night I forgot what the name of the Dawn Motel as I keep forgetting but it's the one that that's Fancy free breakfast and Wi-Fi

WISCOJIM 03-27-2017 11:01 PM

I used to stay at the Knight's Inn on Cemetery Road when it was a Motel 6, but it's tough to find room to park with a trailer there, and most of the rooms were pretty trashy.

I now stay at the Motel 6 that used to be a Fairfield Inn. Much, much nicer! $70.49/night with all taxes. And all the good food stores, restaurants, and other shopping close by.

I learned that lesson. Having to unhitch every night and hitch up flat out sucked, which is why we went elsewhere....

A third rate romance in a low rent rendezvous. It's located on Cemetery Road, the ideal place to "Bury the stiff". :D

Bump :)

Ten days out

When's everyone coming in? I'll be in on Thursday afternoon and planning on helping with setup and such....

Dave S 04-24-2017 11:24 PM

I'll be rolling in to the legendary and much-maligned Knights Inn on Parkway Lane 10 or 12 hours after I leave New Jersey on Thursday. Hopefully I can get there in time to meet up with anyone having a late dinner. My phone number is 732-382-0618. (Dave Sica)

Crist Rigott 04-25-2017 05:23 AM

I'm staying at the Quality Inn on Westbelt Dr. Should be getting there Friday afternoon.

David Roper 04-25-2017 06:48 PM

I'll be slumming at Homewood again this year for the fourteenth time [sigh].

BigDavesTV 04-27-2017 11:49 AM

Motel 6 in Hilliard, Friday night only, as I have to head back to SE Michigan, Saturday Evening! I plan to arrive in the area by noon on Friday, can't hardly wait! :)
