ID color set

Can anyone tell me for sure what set this is? Kamakiri and I think it is a CTC-12. Does anyone know the model this exact cabinet is? 21FBP22 CRT? I would like to try and find this exact set and restore it. That is my great grandfather in my grandfather's house. Think the photo of him is late 1960s or early 1970s. He died in 1977. Looks like he is watching football maybe? Kinda looks like players in a huddle maybe?
Thanks for any info anyone can provide. Oh, and if anyone has one in good condition, maybe we can work something out. :thmbsp: |
Looks like a 12 to me. Could be an early 15, since it doesn't have UHF. But it's most likely a 12.

Al,
Found this illustration in a 1963 edition of the Chicago Tribune. Looks like your RCA Victor model "The Staunton". Sorry for the bad photo. Compare the article w/your set. I've blown up the caption. -Steve D. |

That Staunton is a CTC15 based on the model number beginning with 214. The trim along the top is different than Al's set. Would the very similar looking CTC12 set have the name Trent or Bruland |
SO CLOSE!!! CTC-15, whereas I think the set I am hunting for is a CTC-12. Thanks for all the great information and the digging. Really appreciate the help.
