New member with a question

I was recently given an older portable tv that has a metal case. It is not in the best of shape but I would like to get some information about it.

It has an old paper tag on the bottom that says:

"Airline Television Receiver Model Number GRX4030A"

Can anyone tell me who made it and when?

I live in the Seattle Washington area and would lime to know if there is anyone in this area that might be able to tell me about it and how to restore it, if it's not in to bad of shape.

Thanks

The "GRX" prefix would be the key but I don't think I've seen that one before. I've looked before but was never able to find a full list of Wards source codes. I know there are one or two members, at least, in Washington state. I'm not sure about Seattle, though. One way or the other, I'm sure we can help out. Glad to have you here!

Wells-Gardner always had a W-G in the model number. GRX, is either a Travler or a Hallicrafters. Mid to late fifties.
