Cool sign. I'm curious, how do you guys find this stuff all over the country. Is there a national CL search I don't know about?

I use Craiglook, which will allow you to search up to a 250 mile circle from a particular zip code. I'm sure there are others. It is my understanding they work as a specialized Google search, and that the information can be slightly out of date? Please somebody correct me if I am way off on that.

I do a Google search for craigslist.org, and the first result is always another search box which searches only CL.

Don't know if this will work, but here: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&&...st.org&spell=1

You can also use Google Advanced Search, and search the domain "craigslist.org" for whatever term you want.

Thanks for the tips. It's very fun and educational to window shop.

You can also enter "site:craigslist.org" after your search in google. Example-

Zenith porthole site:craigslist.org

That will only return results from CL. Make sure there are no spaces before or after the colon.

PS- On topic, did they really brag about not having printed circuits? That seems strange...

It's right there in the sign...

Yes, sir-they bragged on it quite a bit all through the sixties. It was the main theme of their print advertising, for instance. "Handwired" was what seperated them from RCA, et al, so why not play it up? It still gets debated which was best...Zeniths from that era do hold up extremely well.
