Dumont TV
I have an RA109-A4. But I can't find any info on it. All help would be greatly appreciated.

The DuMont RA109-a4 is a B&W television. You might have better luck asking this question in the B&W and Projection TV forum.

I will look around and see if I still have my copy of the Sam's folder for this set. This has to be the tank of all chassis with a few dozen tubes, dual LV HV rectifiers, and a ton of power transformer. The metal/glass 19AP4 crt also makes it interesting to me, but seems to be the pitfall of these sets and others that used that crt. I think they are losing vacuum after all these years.
I had to give my set away several years ago because it was too big and heavy for my modesty sized home. I still miss seeing the armada of tubes lit when playing my set. A real fascinating, high guality set..... |
I lent a big 3-ring binder of DuMont factory info to the ETF museum. Maybe Steve McVoy could help? I haven't seen about getting the binder back because I don't own any of the sets in it!

That would be helpful, cause I can't find anything on this particular model. I'm debating on selling it I don't have the room to keep it honestly, but if it would be an investment I might just hang on to it.
