A blonde I dragged home from Florida.

Always wanted a 29-series for my Zenith collection, and in old-school blonde, even better. Will look nice next to my blonde 12" porthole. Fired it up and it produced a better-than-HD image of an old tube TV chassis, even without a digital convertor box.*

*This is a lie.

Of course it will look even better with a CRT. I have extras stored within the same zip code. The Yoke on the other hand... Not so much.

Lifelike picture, like you could reach right into the screen and touch the chassis. :D

the yoke on your other set looks the same as the RCA yokes, I got a couple spares from a CTC 11 that may work.

Wow is that clean, better than I saw in the 70's for this set.
Still shines !

RCA yokes from the round tube sets work just fine. I wonder if that early of a model, had those pull strings, instead of vert. and horizontal centering controls.
Probably 40 years, since I worked on one. :scratch2:

Come on, someone HAD to have cleaned that chassis! They're never that shiny in the wild.

I was told the chassis was re-capped, but I haven't even looked yet.

Appreciate the ideas on yoke replacement.

You guys will naturally be kept in the loop on whatever gets done as it's not like I really know that much without asking for help! :D

I had some NOS Zenith yokes stashed away somewhere, but I can't remember if I still have them or not. I haven't had them at the house in 5 years or so. I'll have to look in the boxes of parts I have stored.

I found the Yoke last week when going through Storage.. It's yours for the shipping... Tried to Pm you but Carmine has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space.
