Odd PM glitch

A day or two ago I my PM box was sitting at one PM shy of full (124/125), and had been for a couple of days. I checked my email and there were three emails from VK saying my PM box was full, and a member here tried but could not PM me in the time frame it was sitting 1 PM below full.

Anyone else have this issue?

Have you sent any? They add to the quota. I had 40 or so in my inbox, and a full mailbox, I finally figured out that my outbox/sent items was the problem - too many.

Speaking of site issues, I still have no icons for formatting posts or PMs - just the emoticons...

I've sent many, but that 124 total includes BOTH sent and received items.....it's like I have a phantom PM in my box that is not in sent or received.....Or the server forgot how to count....

I noticed those icons have not been present since the AK shutdown.

If you are that close to the cutoff limit, why not delete most of them and not worry about it until it fills up again?

Some back burner deals that may be revisited I want to keep, and it takes a good bit of time to read and decide what to keep and what to can.

There are threads on my stuff here that have been ready for update posts for weeks or months now that have not been gotten to.

Check out the bottom of the list of PMs. There is a link to download PMs in various formats. I use Text. Then I move the file (filename is "fromdate-todate") to a folder for that purpose. I still have them, offline, and I can search them.

Never run out of space, and always have all the PMs that are important to you.

I just download the important ones to the computer with the download feature and delete the others.
