Styling isn't my cup of tea (I'm a sucker for "ugly duckling" sets) but I'm glad to see it saved. Here's hoping the 21AXP22A is in phenomenonal shape! :thmbsp:

You mean how the right hand door looks really light compared to the rest of it? It's not faded at all, it just happens to be a lighter section of veneer as far as I can tell. This was also shot in direct sunlight, so the angle of the light may have hit it in that spot making it appear lighter than it really is. It is the lightest shade of any mahogany set I own however, the rest are darker by quite a bit. Could also be that it wasn't stained as much as the other parts when it was built, I've had different sections of identical pieces of wood absorb stain differently on me before, requiring multiple extra coats to match surrounding portions. Either way, it's in the best condition of any of my unrestored sets.
