Here are a few pictures of a nice looking set that I recently restored.

It is from about 1971. I can post a copy of the circuit if requested.

Interesting set. Is that thumb wheel tuner continuous or click stop?

Please post a copy of the circuit! It's a very neat looking set. The styling is a lot better than a lot of the British offerings.
It must be a heavy little beast, as it has a mains transformer. All the tubes/valves have six volt heaters. :thmbsp:

Yes indeed it is a heavy little set. Still, it does have a handle and telescopic aerials, so must be considered as a portable.

The thumb-wheel tuning is continuous. It is connected to a miniature turret tuner.
Note that there are two station indicator wheels, one is viewed from the top, and the other can be viewed from the front whilst sitting down.

The set is switched on or off by opening or closing the speaker cover at the top.

I misunderstood the term continuous with regard to the tuner.
It has click stops to switch in each set of coils.

It's great that schematics are the universal language. IIRC, the audio IC is an RCA issue.
Looking at the power supply, it's a voltage doubler derived from an 87 volt secondary, interesting!
Was AWA related to RCA. It seems that Radiola and Radiotron was RCA brand names.
