another colorado tinkerer!
greetings citizens, my name is jake and i have been working on radios for a couple years now, my first radio that gave me the bug is a zenith r600 and at that time i new nothing about radios of that vintage so i sent that one to a pro to restore the chassis, after some research and receiving a philco 51-1730, i recapped and had my first success, i was hooked!! my second radio, (which is my favorite console i own) is a belmont model 902, another home run, use the radio frequently. then i thought i would try to get this precision es-500a going and it now works really good(uncalibrated, fun to play with tho). so now i have a hoffman 7m140 that i am working on and could use some help with!! thank you very much and am looking forward to another classic electronic device that works better than new!!
