RCA roundie combo by Cincinnati

There's a nice looking CTC 16 (I think) combo in Loveland, OH. There's also a crappy Maggie. Both are FREE!

If only I had the time - sigh.

Good luck to whoever goes after it - it looks like a nice set.

That picture tube seems to have some problems.

Nah, not really. That's a "cataract", a delamination of the bonding agent between the safety glass & the front of the CRT. Looks awful, but can be fixed w/a little effort.

RCA Roundie Combo

I have looked at the unit, The cabinet is in very good shape, CRT obviously has a cataract. I took the back off and could not see anything burnt up. There are 2 problems that prevented me from taking it

1- The stereo is solid state
2-Divorce papers from my wife unless I part with one of my other sets, or buy her a bigger house!

But seriously I did convince the person not to set it out to the curb, the set will need to be gone in the next couple of months for the estate to settle.
Very Nice People,

BTW- it is a "New Vista", very interesting post:nono:

Any questions or if I can help seve this, please let me know.

Glad you took a look at it and convinced them not to throw it out. Hopefully, someone here will get it. I too am not a fan of the RCA SS stereos but I would make an exception for a roundie. I also understand about the wife........
